The "Wardens of 93" was an alliance of Space Marine Chapters dedicated to the defense of the volatile and dangerous region of the Ultima Segmentum of the galaxy known as "Sector 93-281". The High Lords of Terra issued an Edict Imperialis in response to numerous dire predations on Imperial commerce and worlds in the region that ordered several Space Marine Chapters to permanently base themselves in Sector 93. Their objective was to protect the Imperium's interests and pacify the region.

In 063.M42, the Crimson Hawks' mobile fortress-monastery Mount Olympus and five ships of the line, with a complement of approximately 800 brethren and some 2,000 other personnel, disappeared into the Warp after leaving the Yuc'Anti System for the Hawk's World Sub-sector with an expectation that they would arrive at their destination in only 12 solar hours.
They never arrived, and after a suitable period of time with no further communications, the Chapter was declared lost in the Warp
